Job Overview

This is a highly technical role requiring expertise in cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Scalable Cloud Infrastructure: Develop and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Build and Deploy Containerized Applications: Create and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes (GKE).
  • Automate Infrastructure Provisioning: Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to ensure best practices in CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring.
  • Monitor System Performance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Optimize Cloud Resources: Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Maintain Security Practices: Maintain and improve security practices in accordance with compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Expertise in Containerization: Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes (preferably GKE).
  • Experience with DevOps Tools: Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Cloud Build).
  • Proficiency in Scripting: Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Bash, or Go preferred).
  • Familiarity with Automation Tools: Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
  • Google Cloud Certification: Google Cloud certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or similar).
