This role oversees and manages the company's network and server infrastructure services offered to customers.

  • Policies and practices are developed to maintain the backend infrastructure/systems of the platform as a service and protect against cyber-attacks.
  • Security compliance and system availability are ensured according to contractual requirements.
  • Timely reports submission is ensured.
  • Maintenance and backup procedures are developed.
  • Systems run efficiently and smoothly by monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Escalation and incident reporting are handled, with resolution or prevention provided.
  • Productivity improvement strategies are developed and implemented.
  • Tender preparation/submission is participated in.
  • Vendor relationships are managed, and customers are fronted on infrastructure/systems related issues.
  • System scalability and upgrades are ensured, with the system and management platform well maintained according to contract requirements.
  • A team of application and system engineers is managed.
  • Safety and health compliance is ensured, with works activities carried out in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and its regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in computer/electronics engineering or equivalent, with at least 10 years of relevant working experience, is required. Alternatively, a diploma in computer/electronics engineering or equivalent, with at least 12 years of relevant working experience, may be considered.
  • Candidates without the specified number of years of relevant working experience as IT managers may be considered if they demonstrate leadership and domain knowledge.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Windows OS and Linux (CentOS), high availability design, VM, and GPU processing is necessary.
  • Good knowledge of security and surveillance solutions landscapes and industry trends is preferred.
