We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Intervention Specialist to join our team at THYE HUA KWAN MORAL CHARITIES LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality early intervention services to children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Class Engagement:
    • Develop and implement effective intervention programs for small groups of children, tailored to meet individual needs and goals.
    • Collaborate with the transdisciplinary team to design and implement therapeutic strategies that promote adaptive functioning and school readiness skills.
    • Prepare and maintain a respectful learning environment that fosters positive relationships and promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Working in Teams:
    • Supervise and mentor Assistant Teachers and Teacher Aides, providing guidance and support in classroom management, teaching strategies, and behavioral intervention techniques.
    • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss allocation of roles, planning, and preparation of activities and resources.
    • Conduct annual performance appraisals for Teacher Aides and provide constructive feedback for growth and development.
  • Management of Processes:
    • Ensure timely submission and updates of all required teaching-related documentation, including progress reports and case notes.
    • Conduct home and school visits as needed to support families and children in their educational journey.
    • Facilitate parents-teacher meetings, pre-cases, and case conferences to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching, Early Intervention, or Special Education.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with families and children, preferably in a special education setting.
  • Mature, independent, creative, and flexible thinking, with the ability to motivate and engage children.
  • Strong understanding of diverse cultures and races, with a patient and loving approach to education and nurturing young children.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
