Job Overview

The global Product Legal Team works cross-functionally and across multiple jurisdictions to develop and execute legal strategies that facilitate expansion into new markets and sustainable growth of AIRWALLEX (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.'s partnerships infrastructure and operations worldwide. The team is responsible for maintaining and deploying new partnership agreements to enable our expanding product suite and geographic coverage, and for putting in place robust legal measures and programs.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join our global Product Legal team and contribute to the development and execution of legal strategies that facilitate expansion into new markets and sustainable growth of AIRWALLEX (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.'s partnerships infrastructure and operations worldwide. As a Counsel, Product Legal Partnership, you will provide critical support to the product team, local legal teams, support functions, management, and the Legal, Risk, and Compliance Department. You will coordinate with local counsel across jurisdictions to discern and devise optimal paths to market from a legal and regulatory perspective, provide advice and support on complex technology transactions, and review and update manuals, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the regions where AIRWALLEX (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. operates. You will also liaise with senior stakeholders of the AIRWALLEX group and manage external counsel and consultants on regulatory matters.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need 8+ years of post-qualification experience, strong regulatory expertise gained in the fintech industry, reputable law firms, or financial institutions. You should be a proactive, results-driven individual who is able to take ownership of your work. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders are essential. A strong drafting skillset is also required, as well as the ability to multitask and be a team player with excellent communication skills. Experience working with stakeholders across the globe is highly desirable.
