Client Onboarding Specialist

As a key member of the client onboarding team, you will serve as a liaison between relationship teams and AML operations. Your primary objective is to ensure seamless end-to-end management of periodic reviews for private banking and wealth management clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales, banking, and markets teams to oversee a portfolio of client refreshes and track pending requirements.
- Perform thorough screening and resolve operational or compliance-related escalations.
- Support Client Advisors and Market Team Heads on complex due diligence cases and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end KYC process, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and APAC regulatory guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in banking or finance with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in KYC operations.
- Strong expertise in KYC/AML, including experience in AML CDD policy standards and industry practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams and communicate effectively.
- Experience in client-facing roles, particularly in gathering and remediation of KYC data.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin with Chinese clients for business purposes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborative mindset and excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work towards common goals.
