Job Overview

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to ensure the optimal performance of our manufacturing test systems. This role plays a critical part in guaranteeing the smooth operation and maintaining high-quality production standards.

  • Deliver exceptional first-level support for equipment and fixtures, including troubleshooting, setup, and dismantling tasks.
  • Maintain an accurate master list of equipment in use, perform regular preventative maintenance (PMs), and carry out repairs when necessary.
  • Monitor indirect materials, submit purchase requests/orders, and track stock levels until payment closure is confirmed.
  • Participate in training sessions for new equipment and provide expert first-level support, troubleshooting issues before collaborating with suppliers for further assistance.
  • Work closely with suppliers on repairing and/or calibrating equipment as required.
  • Support and contribute to 5S, Lean activities, and internal compliance audits to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Assist in Kaizen activities to continuously improve tester performance by reducing downtime, increasing productivity, and providing valuable feedback for future enhancements.

The ideal candidate should hold a diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Computer/Mechatronic or an ITE in Engineering, with over three years of experience in maintenance and repair of test systems in manufacturing. They must possess excellent communication skills, be a team player, highly motivated, willing to learn, and able to adapt quickly. Additionally, flexibility, ability to change priorities, and strong multitasking skills are essential.
