Job Title: Technical Services Specialist

 

Job Description

As a technical services specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert support to our clients. You will be the first point of contact for technical queries and issues, and will work closely with our team to resolve problems efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing daily onsite or remote technical support on CUAS, drone systems, computer systems, communication equipment, radar or radio frequency equipment, networking, hardware, and software systems.
  • Responding promptly to faults/activations raised by clients, including troubleshooting and recovery.
  • Ensuring the proper maintenance (Preventive and Corrective) of systems assigned by the Customer Support Lead/Project Managers, including maintaining all relevant written records.
  • Executing project-related activities such as deployment, installation, configuration, testing of systems to support the project.
  • Performing CUAS and UAS testing and operations.
  • Identifying, planning, and initiating required actions to maintain systems for long-term reliability, operational efficiency, and improve maintainability.
  • Developing technical specifications for equipment services, system services, contract labor, and ad-hoc maintenance services. Supervising and reporting performance of contractors to ensure good quality and progress of maintenance works, as well as full compliance with contract specifications.
  • Assisting in managing and controlling both Glamco and maintenance equipment and spares.
  • Liaising, supervising, and coordinating with contractors and vendors on projects, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs works.
  • Supporting the Technical Team in investigation, analyzing, and determining the root cause of system defects.
  • Supporting the Technical Team in providing expertise for new programs and systems.
  • Ensuring project and maintenance SLA (Service Level Agreement) and customer satisfaction levels are met.
