Procurement Specialist Overview
The Procurement Specialist will play a pivotal role in our organization by acquiring goods and services from suppliers, managing the procurement process, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate technical proposals based on engineering specifications to ensure compliance with our company's standards.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and delivery terms, leveraging their expertise to drive value creation.
- Generate purchase orders and monitor their status to maintain transparency and efficiency throughout the procurement cycle.
- Review supplier performance and coordinate with QA/QC teams to address any quality issues that may arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Purchasing Management or Supply Chain Management, with a strong foundation in business principles and practices.
- Proven experience in buying Piping & Steel materials, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Able to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
