Role Summary

This role requires an individual with excellent communication skills to coordinate the flow of food between the kitchen and service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Timely call and handover dishes from the Back of House (BOH) to the Front of House (FOH).
  • Match completed food orders to tickets, ensuring accuracy and readiness for serving.
  • Ensure food is plated to standards and that hot/cold dishes are dispatched promptly.
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with servers and kitchen staff to manage service flow.
  • Verify completeness of orders before dispatch.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order at the pass area and food holding stations.
  • Escalate delays or issues to the Head Chef or Restaurant Supervisor immediately.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in Chinese and/or Seafood restaurants; training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent coordination and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of kitchen-to-service flow and basic food presentation.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
