About the Job

As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting chemical analysis related to product release, project, and validation testing. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and strong communication abilities.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform chemical analysis for product release, project, and validation testing.
  • Ensure tests are performed according to written procedures.
  • Train new lab staff members in best practices and protocols.
  • Assess training effectiveness and provide feedback.
  • Supervise junior technicians during testing and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support lab consumables purchase and inventory control.
  • Investigate chemical analysis failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct or review internal calibration and maintain calibration records.
  • Verify tagging status and certificate of analysis for product release.
  • Verify test results obtained by QA Lab Junior Technician / QA Lab Technician.
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns or malfunctions.
  • Ensure chemical mixing process is performed according to written procedures.
  • Support routine in-house test requests: Chemical Extraction test if required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Process Technology/Microbiology or related discipline.
  • Ability to work independently and perform overtime when required to support manufacturing operations.
  • Able to commit to rotating monthly shifts (8am-5:30pm / 8pm-5:30am).
  • Required to work in cleanroom environment.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Good communication and writing skills.
