Job Opportunity:

The Process Technician role is now available at our organization. This position involves performing routine maintenance tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of various processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing basic maintenance activities such as valve replacement, filter cleaning, and equipment setup
  • Highlighting maintenance request notifications to supervision for review and approval
  • Supporting shift operations during grade change transitions under the guidance of supervision
  • Receiving and tracking incoming goods and outgoing materials shipped in isotainers
  • Conducting regular stock counts and collaborating with supervisors to ensure adequate material inventories for daily production
  • Assisting in investigating inventory variances when discrepancies arise
  • Communicating with supervisors on raw material storage and receiving matters
  • Complying with hazardous material handling and storage procedures
  • Acting as backup support during the absence of other technicians
  • Assisting in preparing plant equipment for maintenance and conducting lockout/tagout/tryout procedures
  • Mixing and diluting chemicals for process operations
  • Transferring chemicals and products between tanks according to established quality procedures
  • Participating in emergency response drills and activities
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Understanding and adhering to safety, environmental, and quality guidelines and policies
  • Contributing to the improvement of safety, health, environment, and quality programs


Requirements:
  • NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Process Technician in a chemical industry
