  • We are looking for a skilled florist to design and create stunning floral arrangements for various events and occasions. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers, design, and attention to detail.

About the Role:

Job Description

Design and Create Floral Arrangements: As a florist, you will be responsible for designing and creating beautiful floral arrangements, including bouquets, wreaths, and stands.

Prepare and Condition Flowers: You will also need to prepare and condition flowers for display, handle daily shop operations, and assist customers with walk-ins and phone/online orders.

Event and Funeral Setup: In addition, you will need to ensure timely setup and delivery for funerals and events, as well as support in seasonal promotions, display setup, and social media photos.

Data Entry: Basic data entry for receipts of floral purchases is also a requirement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A strong passion for flowers and design is essential, with experience preferred but training available.
  • You should have a good eye for detail and colour coordination, as well as being physically fit to lift and move flower stands/arrangements.
  • Reliability, responsibility, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team are key requirements.
  • Flexibility is also necessary, as you may be required to work weekends and some evenings.
  • Basic communication skills in English are necessary.
