Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to maintain equipment in assigned areas. As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. They will be able to monitor tool performance, schedule preventative maintenance, and use mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills to repair equipment issues.

You will work closely with operations team members, area engineers, and vendors to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings.
  • Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
  • Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and repairs.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) and relevant experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies is also desirable.

Able to work on shift, preferably with a strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
