Senior Legal Counsel Job Summary:

  • This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a global consultancy firm, providing legal expertise and guidance across the South East Asia Region.

Responsibilities include advising client-facing teams on negotiation of engagement letters, assisting with compliance and regulatory matters, managing litigation and document requests, and drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of post-qualification experience, combining time spent working in-house and in leading private practice law firms.

Key qualifications for this role include fluency in spoken and written business English, a multi-cultural perspective, and the ability to practice in other relevant languages. This is an exciting opportunity to succeed in a varied in-house role with responsibilities across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Relationships:
  • Reporting to leadership of the General Counsel Office
  • Partnering with and supporting Regional business leadership
  • Advising and assisting global stakeholders
  • Business Unit Managing Directors and their teams
  • A&M Human Resources, Finance and Operations teams
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Combination of in-house and private practice experience
  • Fluency in spoken and written business English
  • Multicultural perspective
  • Ability to practice in other relevant languages
