Project Cost and Contract Specialist

The role involves managing all aspects of project cost and contractual issues across both tender and execution phases.

  • Tender Management: reviewing tender documents, conditions of contract, and design drawings to identify commercial risks and opportunities;
  • Contract Administration: overseeing contractual matters related to cost and delays with clients and subcontractors;
  • Cost Estimation and Control: establishing and maintaining robust cost estimation and control procedures across projects;
  • Leadership and Direction: providing guidance on ongoing project commercial issues.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field;
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects, with a strong track record in both pre- and post-contract roles;
  • Proven leadership experience within a main contractor environment, ideally in Singapore;
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, and tender submission processes.

You will collaborate closely with the sales, bid support team and senior management representatives to meet customer requirements effectively.

This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
