">We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an opportunity to work on projects for a reputable bank and make a significant impact.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Lead monitoring standardization and resource optimization while improving communication with Incident/Problem management and subject matter experts.
- Oversee the creation and availability of monitoring metrics and alerts reports for senior management while ensuring their completeness and accuracy.
- Establish metrics to track monitoring effectiveness and efficiency, and act as the escalation point for all improvement activities.
- Supervise and manage a team of service providers to ensure delivery of quality infrastructure services by engaged vendors.
- Work effectively and closely with vendor delivery managers and technical support staff, regulators, other IT groups, and internal auditors.
- Ability to work closely with various line of business technologies from junior to management level.
- Change governance on all monitoring changes for production implementation.
- Perform on-call duty on rotation basis - 24x7 operational support, including weekends and public holidays.
Requirements
">- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 4-5 years of experience on monitoring tools like Netcool and Zabbix Unix/Linux/Wintel platforms.
- Minimum degree holder in Computer Science.
- Minimum 5 years IT experience in a bank with 3 years' experience in scripting and web development.
- Experience in Shell, Python, and Perl scripts is mandatory.
- Experience in automation and web reports using AJAX, HTML, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with various monitoring tools like IBM Tivoli, Netcool, Zabbix, Elastic Search, and others.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
">- Experience with new technology stacks like OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes to support infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of application or infrastructure monitoring systems in a multi-platform environment.
