Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Theatre Arts Educator to join our team. As a Theatre Arts Educator, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging workshops and classes for students in MOE schools.

Your primary objective is to foster an environment that encourages creativity and self-expression through the performing arts. Your responsibilities include:

  • Creating curriculum-aligned Theatre Arts lessons
  • Cultivating effective communication skills among students
  • Supporting students in preparation for school-based events and showcases
  • Maintaining a professional learning environment and adhering to established classroom management protocols
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • MOE registration as a Theatre Arts Educator
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching or coaching Drama, English Literary Drama, or Theatre Arts enrichment
  • Prior training in stage performance, preferably with certifications such as Diploma in Theatre Studies, Diploma in Reading Recital, or Grade 8 Speech and Drama
  • Familiarity with the routine school calendar events in primary/secondary schools
  • The ability to competently manage training responsibilities
  • A clear track record of past/current training programmes (e.g., Drama CCA, Theatre Arts enrichment)
