The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of facilities management, including moves, adds, and changes (MAC). This role requires a strong focus on health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with fire safety and workplace ergonomics.
Responsibilities also include managing the daily operations of the workplace, encompassing facilities, security, and asset inventories. The ideal candidate will be able to track and update FM assets efficiently, as well as assist in storing, disposing, or retrieving them.
Additionally, this position involves responding promptly and accurately to Corrigo work orders and complaints. The candidate will also assist with light-duty adjustments, meeting setup, furniture reset, and delivering temporary equipment and supplies.
Maintenance of workplace policies and procedures, such as building access, visitor management, and emergency preparedness, is another key aspect of this role. The successful candidate must ensure that workplace facilities are maintained and cleaned to a high standard and that equipment is in good working order.
Supervision of the work schedule of the workplace support team, including receptionists, event coordinators, administrative coordinators, and housekeeping staff, is also required. Furthermore, contributing to sustainability initiatives by coordinating tasks and reporting requirements is an essential part of this position.
Required Skills and QualificationsThis role requires a strong background in facilities management, engineering, or a related field, preferably with a diploma. Four to six years of professional experience in facilities management, with a focus on hard services, is necessary.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, including mechanical and electrical systems. They should be able to read and interpret SLDs, electrical drawings, and ACMV schematics.
Able to handle manual duties, perform regular facilities inspections, and work with minimal supervision are essential skills for this position. Additionally, proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Windows and Office operating systems, is required.
Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings, as well as being responsive to emergency calls outside of working hours, is crucial for this role.
