  • Support personal hygiene activities such as toileting, diaper changing, emptying urinary catheter/stoma bag, grooming, and showering
  • Deliver NGT/PEG feeding
  • Provide medication assistance
  • Monitor and record temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, reporting any abnormalities to staff nurse or therapist
  • Cognitive and behavioral monitoring and interventions
  • Simple wound care management under staff nurse supervision
  • Assist nurses or therapists in providing routine care for clients and improving their quality of life
  • Support planning and implementation of daily programs at the day care
  • Report and escalate client or staff-related adverse incidents
  • Support non-clinical tasks necessary for daily operations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in geriatric settings is an advantage but not necessary
  • Mature individuals from various qualification levels are welcome to apply
  • Able to multitask and work in a stressful environment
  • Maintain institutional honor, interest, and dignity
  • Compassionate and able to relate well with patients
  • Caring, understanding, patient, empathetic, and a good team player
  • Cooperate with colleagues to achieve total healthcare for the community
