Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Engineer to join our team in developing innovative solutions for autonomous service robots. The ideal candidate will have expertise in robotics, computer science, and software engineering, with experience in ROS and familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++, C#, JavaScript, and Python.

The successful candidate will work alongside other engineers to design, develop, integrate, collect data, debug, and deploy robots in various use cases and environments. They will participate in the continued development across our product lines, ensuring that our robots meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Robotics, or Embedded Systems, or demonstrate exceptional talent in these areas.

  • Demonstrable experience with ROS
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following languages: C/C++, C#, JavaScript, Python
Critical Skills

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively. They will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Nice to Haves

A demonstrable ability to conduct focus groups and extract requirements would be an asset in this role. Additionally, experience with instrumentation, system design, firmware, and electronics would be beneficial.

About This Role

This is a go-to-market role towards autonomous service robots for indoor and outdoor environments, specifically in multi-robot orchestration and control. You will work alongside other engineers to testbed and evaluate new hardware devices and algorithmic capabilities.

The work that you do will bring to market new approaches for robot navigation, perception, and instrumentation. As an engineer in this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of cutting-edge robotics technology.
