Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development of autonomous mobile robotic systems for healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in managing cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage system architecture, functional design, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the creation of system/software requirements specifications and ensure alignment with ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and safety engineers to design systems with high availability, modularity, and fault tolerance.
  • Perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and execute test plans, including unit, integration, verification, validation, and field-testing protocols.
  • Lead the creation of product documentation, including user instructions, safety guidance, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in robotic product development, with at least 3 years focused on mobile/AMR systems in healthcare or logistics.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 3691-4 and similar functional safety standards.
  • Demonstrated experience leading specification, architecture, risk assessment, and documentation in regulated environments.
  • Proficiency with requirements management tools, CAD, and simulation environments.

Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with hospital operations and delivery workflows.
  • Experience with AGVs/AMRs using SLAM, LiDAR, vision systems, and autonomous navigation stacks.
