Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support throughout deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization phases.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business, security, and compliance requirements.
  3. Design and implement Exact Data Match (EDM) as a fundamental requirement.
  4. Develop and enforce policies for data retention and protection using Microsoft Purview.
  5. Monitor and manage data access, usage, and compliance through Purview's governance tools.
  6. Integrate Microsoft Purview with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and other Microsoft 365 security tools within a non-persistent VDI environment.
  7. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with organizational policies.
  8. Facilitate integration of Purview and Defender with other Microsoft 365 and Azure services to establish a unified security and compliance framework.

Required Skills:

  • A strong track record of navigating complex organizational structures and managing varied requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, particularly in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), EDM, Sensitive Information Type (SIT) creation, and data governance.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and its integration with Purview and Microsoft 365 in a non-persistent VDI environment.
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft 365 compliance and security tools.
  • Experience working in hybrid environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data protection issues.
