Job Opportunity:

As a highly skilled Coordinator for Civil and Structural Designs, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects.

  • Coordinate C&S designs and ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations to maintain high standards and avoid potential risks.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to guarantee alignment between C&S designs and other disciplines.
  • Review and provide input on civil and structural design drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve design issues during construction and offer technical support to the site team to maintain momentum and efficiency.
  • Ensure seamless integration of C&S designs with architectural and M&E systems to deliver a cohesive and functional project.
  • Conduct regular design coordination meetings with consultants and project stakeholders to facilitate open communication and address any concerns.
  • Monitor design progress carefully to ensure timely delivery of drawings and documents for each construction stage.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control and adherence to safety standards in civil and structural design implementations to safeguard the well-being of site personnel and minimize project risks.
  • Prepare detailed reports and updates on C&S design progress for project management to inform decision-making and optimize outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field to provide a solid foundation for this role.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and structural design coordination, preferably on large-scale construction projects, to demonstrate expertise and adaptability.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and coordinate between design and construction teams to foster collaboration and achieve shared goals.
Key Skills and Abilities
  • Exceptional management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles, including physics, mathematics, and engineering design.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in all aspects of the job.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD software and its applications in civil engineering design.
