Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Optimization Engineer to join our team at Renesas Electronics. In this role, you will be part of the AI & Cloud Engineering (ACE) Division and Customer Engineering team, which is responsible for helping customers easily use our software tools and services.

Our team supports customers on our current and future SOC platforms, as well as custom projects and proof of concepts. We work closely with developers of AI products and models, and you will gain valuable experience in AI product deliveries and help drive next-generation AI hardware & software.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of industry-leading AI products by supporting new state-of-the-art inferences and customer programs.
  • Collaborate with AI development engineers, Technical Program Managers, and Customer Support Engineers to accelerate delivery of next-generation AI products and models for customers.
  • Customize Renesas AI products, including deep learning networks, implementation of compiler optimization algorithms, AI compiler kernel development, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or any related field.
  • Experience in C/C++, Python, or other related programming languages.
  • Experience in accelerating deep learning models or libraries on hardware architectures.
  • Experience working with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, etc.
  • Ability to speak and write in English at a business level.
  • Experience of Scrum-based development is a plus.
