Position Summary: We are in search of a skilled Facilities Optimization Engineer to lead initiatives aimed at improving the operational efficiency of our client's chemical production facility. The successful candidate will have a solid engineering foundation and a track record of driving process enhancements and managing projects within the chemical manufacturing sector.

Primary Duties:

  • Project Management: Direct facilities enhancement projects from conception through to completion.
  • Technical Guidance: Offer technical expertise for facility upgrades, encompassing design and execution.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with teams and stakeholders to guarantee effective project outcomes.
  • Process Enhancement: Recognize and implement improvements to increase plant reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that projects comply with health, safety, security, and environmental standards, as well as ISO regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in process or maintenance engineering, particularly in facilities enhancement within the chemical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing capital projects and optimizing processes.
  • Strong understanding of P&ID development, hydraulics, equipment sizing, and safety systems.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
