Job Title: Regional Beauty Expert

Job Summary:

Ingredion Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Regional Beauty Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Global Beauty and Home Innovation function, you will be responsible for providing expertise and support to our Beauty and Home business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the manager to build new Beauty care application capability to support regional and global needs.
  • Support regional Sales and Business Development Teams by joint customer visits and presenting Beauty care oriented content for customer inquiries and at customer meetings/workshops.
  • Develop existing products new positioning, new products application data and process.
  • Identify and initiate major technology programs and innovation to meet the needs of Ingredion's business and strategic plans.
  • Work with Business Team to co-create and implement GTM plans by region for focused countries, customers, and segments.
  • Provide technical training to distributors.
  • Proactive on opportunities and solutions by developing scientific materials for internal/external customers and responding internal & external Beauty & Home science related questions.
  • Maintain relationships with key customers and sales personnel within Ingredion to ensure effective communication channels are in place.
  • Support regional prototype development and marketing materials at trade shows and scientific organizations relevant to Beauty care science and technology, building connections with research organizations.
  • Help team to collect market trend and competitor intelligence.
  • Help manager to prepare the presentation for key stakeholder meetings and customer visits.
  • Attend B&H key projects review meetings and take meeting minutes.
  • Ensure the laboratory maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide administrative support to management as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science or chemistry or related science field majors.
  • Min. 5 years' experience in technical service, application field, and having a record of delivering results.
  • Work experience in skin care or cosmetic business companies or ingredient suppliers.
  • Able to travel domestic & internationally.
  • Preferably with formulation expertise.
  • Good presentation skill incl. PowerPoint making and presenting to the audience confidently.
  • Experience designing, managing, conducting, and interpreting lab results preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to research and appraise scientific information and translate it into clear evidence-based messages.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to present to a range of audiences, both within the organization and at external fora.
