Financial Executive Job Description

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Executive to join our team at SECURITY & RISK SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and analysis, with the ability to prepare and analyze financial statements using Excel and accounting software.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing Excel, accounting software, and reporting tools to assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts. They will also monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets, providing timely variance analysis and explanations.

Finance Operations Duties:

The Financial Executive will ensure that invoicing and collections are timely and accurate, and that payments are duly verified and paid in accordance with contracted credit terms. They will also process and ensure accurate payroll payout for assigned entities.

Business Partnering:

We are looking for a candidate who can collaborate with entity heads and business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide tailored support and analysis. The successful candidate will create financial models and scenarios to support strategic decision-making and business planning.

Strategic Planning and Decision Support:

The Financial Executive will support strategic planning processes by providing financial insights and analysis. They will evaluate investment opportunities, new business ventures, and cost-saving initiatives through financial modeling and feasibility studies.

Process Improvement and Optimisation:

We are seeking a candidate who can identify opportunities to streamline overall finance processes and improve efficiency. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation initiatives, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Audit and Taxation:

The Financial Executive will coordinate and manage the entire audit process from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with audit standards and regulatory requirements. They will also file and review quarterly GST form 5 for assigned entities, and liaise with tax agents for ECI and Corporate Income Tax submission.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Independent with minimum supervision and able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer focused, positive work attitude and self-motivated
  • Meticulous and good analytical skills
