Job Title: Publications Director

We are seeking a senior leader to head our publishing efforts.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement key knowledge products, including signature reports and publications.

About Our Mission:

We partner with governments globally to build public sector capability and leadership through training programmes, government projects, and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy: Formulate content themes, structure, format, and flow for major publications.
  • Research and Proposals: Collaborate with subject matter experts to research and propose impactful content elements.
  • Original Content: Develop plans to secure original content from contributors.
  • Interviews and Articles: Conduct interviews, write, and edit selected articles.
  • Publication Management: Supervise editing, layout, and distribution of publications.
  • Contributor Management: Manage contributors, editors, designers, and others to ensure timely publication.
  • Distribution and Promotion: Maintain and grow distribution lists, promote new publications, and meet readership KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Similar writing and editing experience, publishing, or project management work.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Journalism or equivalent.
