Job Title: Health Care Support Specialist

About the Role:

As a Health Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting clients' daily living activities and maintaining a safe, clean, and caring environment. Your dedication and compassion will significantly contribute to the quality of care provided within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding clients as necessary; assist in drying and clothing clients after bath by Nursing Aides, providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
  • Provide appropriate engagement for clients by utilizing resources and materials.
  • Assist to accompany clients for medical / non-medical reviews when necessary.
  • Cleaning / washing of lavatories and shower stalls as well as laundry duties (when regular cleaning / laundry staff absent).
  • Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Protect the organization's value by keeping patient information confidential.

Other Duties:

  • Participate in fundraising activities.
  • Perform any other (non-clinical) duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in healthcare or caregiving.
  • Certification in Nursing Aide or Certificate in Healthcare Attendant (preferably trained in Singapore).
  • Ability to work 3 rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physically fit to handle daily care activities.
  • Open to learning and taking on varied responsibilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Hardworking, meticulous, and responsible.
  • Service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
