Job Title: Environmental Control Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Control Officer to join our team at Bayes Recruitment Pte. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring environmental management systems at work sites, conducting regular site inspections, and ensuring environmental compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential environmental hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with project management to ensure that all environmental control measures are properly executed.
  • Prepare and submit site environmental management and monitoring plans in accordance with prescribed formats.
  • Provide guidance to project management on environmental health and safety matters.
  • Inspect worksites to ensure that all facilities and equipment relevant to environmental health are in proper working condition.
  • Identify and discuss environmental health irregularities with project management and recommend measures to rectify them.
  • Submit site environmental control reports in accordance with prescribed formats.
  • Liaise with National Environment Agency staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • ECO + ECMO certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on ECO experience in tunnelling projects.
  • At least 3 years of practical experience relevant to the scope of works of the Underground Tunnel Project Contract.
  • Good knowledge of government regulations relating to occupational safety, health, and environmental confined space assessment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and languages used by workers.
  • Willingness to work in the East Area.
