Job Description

The Fitness and Wellness Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional health and wellness services to guests. This individual oversees the daily operations of the fitness center and spa facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained, clean, and safe. Additionally, they provide expert guidance and support to guests participating in the RunWestin program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Daily Operations: Ensure the fitness center and spa facilities operate smoothly, with attention to equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
  • Develop and Implement Wellness Programs: Create and execute wellness initiatives, fitness classes, and personalized training sessions for guests.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Offer professional and prompt assistance to guests, addressing their inquiries and wellness needs in accordance with The Westin Brand standards.
  • Conduct RunWestin Activities: Provide personalized running route recommendations, organize and lead running events or group runs, and collaborate with local running groups and wellness partners to enhance the guest experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: A diploma in fitness or equivalent is required.

Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.

License or Certification: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and Fitness Equipment Certification are mandatory. Additional certifications may be required by local and state agencies.
