Physics Educator Wanted

We seek an accomplished Physics teacher to join our faculty, teaching students aged 12+ to 18 years. Our school offers a unique educational experience, focusing on Mathematics and Science.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics, fostering students' love for the subject through effective teaching and role modelling. Key responsibilities include contributing to curriculum planning, development, and implementation in Physics and Engineering, as well as implementing innovative pedagogies like IT-enabled learning, differentiated instruction, collaborative learning, and learner-focused interaction within and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physics to students aged 12+ to 18 years.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and implementation in Physics and Engineering.
  • Implement innovative pedagogies like IT-enabled learning, differentiated instruction, collaborative learning, and learner-focused interaction within and outside the classroom.
  • Initiate and mentor research projects, guiding students with expertise and support.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or higher degree in Physics or Engineering is required.
  • Competence in teaching Physics at GCE O-Level content or GCE A-Level H2 content is essential.
  • Knowledge of Astronomy, supporting Astronomy CCA, is an optional advantage.
