Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with national and international quality standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management, as well as excellent communication skills.

  • Monitor compliance to national and international quality standards and related regulations.
  • Participate in quality-related activities such as audits, qualification programs, claims, etc.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.
  • Serve as a representative for operations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely completion of project deadlines.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Develop process flowcharts.
  • Conduct internal and external training with operational staff.
  • Coordinate with IT teams for system enhancements and integration.
  • Manage testing for IT projects.
  • Support daily operational issues.
  • Maintain SOPs internally at a regional level.
  • Prepare and submit KPI reports for customers.
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Act as a control tower for communication between internal and external customers.
  • Align processes with internal and external operations.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to improve operational processes.
  • Conduct training for internal operations when new requirements are introduced by customers.
  • Maintain good relationships with customers.
  • Support ad-hoc quotations as required.
  • Travel overseas as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain/Transportation/International Business.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics Industry, preferably with Air/Ocean freight experience.
  • Good command of written and spoken English, proficiency in other languages is a bonus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Teams.
  • Experience in at least one aspect of freight forwarding operations, either export or import.
  • Detail-oriented and good time management.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and deliver key tasks on time.
