Senior Staff Design Engineer

The role involves contributing to the development of highly integrated mixed signal SoC's for low power MCU and Wireless products as part of a digital design team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop digital circuits with detailed block architecture, adhering to quality guidelines.
  • Integrate digital blocks / IP into the SoC infrastructure, including bus matrix, memory interfaces, clocking, power management, and reset management.
  • Verify block level performance, SoC integration, and mixed-signal and RF IP integration using directed, random, and assertion-based methods.
  • Develop customer facing reference manual and datasheet material.

Requirements:

  • MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, System-On-Chip or ASIC design tools, and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of microcontroller embedded processor and CortexM based systems.
  • Experience with RTL coding, software/firmware coding, low-power implementation, and verification skills (e.g., logic simulation, testbench development, performance verification).

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Design skills in RTL Coding, Software/Firmware coding, Low-power implementation, and Knowledge of CortexM based systems.
  • Verification skills (e.g., logic simulation, testbench development, performance verification), System-On-Chip or UVM verification experience.
  • Design for Testability skills (e.g., controllability and observability through test modes, scan test, ATPG, MBIST).
  • Knowledge of scripting/language (python, perl, TcL) and Bus protocols.
