Contract Director - APAC Region

Job Description

The successful Contract Director will lead our business growth in the APAC region, developing and executing a strategic plan to double EBITDA.

This key role will drive new business development, client retention, and cross-divisional revenue growth. You will also be responsible for negotiating high-margin contracts and securing volume business while ensuring profitability and SLA compliance.

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy to double APAC EBITDA
  • Evaluate and scale contract operations across APAC markets using Singapore as a regional hub
  • Assess office infrastructure for long-term growth including potential expansion into Japan or consolidation in Perth

Additionally, you will:

  • Lead the APAC contract sales structure including 360-degree account management and programme accounts
  • Drive new business development client retention and cross-divisional revenue growth
  • Negotiate high-margin contracts and secure volume business ensuring profitability and SLA compliance
  • Forecast performance accurately and consistently exceed monthly quarterly and annual targets

As a seasoned leader you will manage and mentor a leadership team of four direct reports and a total headcount of 40+ across Singapore Malaysia and Perth.

  • Ensure seamless delivery of recruitment programs meeting client SLAs and KPIs e.g time-to-hire fill rates

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients offering tailored solutions and maintaining our market-leading reputation

Key Performance Indicators include:

  • Revenue Growth: Achieve NFI targets and double EBITDA
  • Client Retention & Expansion: Extend contract lengths increase margin expand MSP/RPO relationships and improve client satisfaction
  • Operational Performance: Exceed SLAs reduce time-to-hire and maintain high fill rates
  • Team Development: Build a pipeline of future leaders and ensure high employee engagement
  • Market Expansion: Successfully evaluate and execute growth opportunities in APAC
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven track record in senior sales or contract leadership roles from an agency recruitment environment NOT TA/In-House RPO or MSP
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L over £3 Million GBP and driving profitability
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and proven track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
  • Excellent negotiation communication and client relationship management skills
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using analytics to inform decisions
