Job Title: Airport Equipment OperatorDescription:

Ramp Agents are essential to the safe and efficient operation of Ground Support Equipment. The role demands high attention to detail, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work under tight schedules.

  • Operate various types of equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damages immediately.
  • Conduct Foreign Object Debris walks on aircraft parking stands.
  • Marshal or operate Aircraft Docking Guidance Systems at aircraft parking stands.
  • Place and remove aircraft wheel chocks and safety cones according to airlines' requirements.
  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are free from Foreign Object Debris.
  • Perform general loading and unloading operations, handling cargo with care to avoid damage.
  • Participate in Passenger Loading Bridge docking and withdrawal procedures.
  • Read and interpret Container Pallet Messages and Loading Instruction Reports.
  • Mentor new recruits in the organization.
  • Comply with workplace safety and health policies, security protocols, and use personal protective equipment correctly.
  • Support loading/unloading during flight handling when assigned.
  • Adhere to airport authority rules and relevant industry standards.
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks and other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary education or above.
  • LTA Class 3 driving license or equivalent state license required.
  • Able to obtain Airfield Driving Permit after attending training and passing relevant tests.
  • Able to upgrade Airfield Driving Permit after further training and testing.
