Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Consultant to bridge the gap between customers and our automotive team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and adept at managing complex interactions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review customer service records and conduct detailed consultations to understand concerns and issues.
  • Analyse problem nature and collaborate with workshop technicians for technical reviews and inspections.
  • Determine if repairs are chargeable or complimentary based on warranty or goodwill.
  • Clearly explain technical issues and proposed solutions to customers.
  • Provide cost estimates, obtain approval, and manage job authorisation.
  • Track and update customers on job progress and estimated completion times.
  • Prepare job cards, service reports, and final documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Nitec in Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • GCE 'O'/'N'/'A' Levels or Diploma holders welcome.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a service advisor or in customer service in an automotive environment.
  • Solid knowledge of vehicle systems and repair processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Well-organised, with good time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and workshop management systems.
