Service Technician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing, installation, repairs, and servicing of firefighting vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of firefighting vehicles to identify any potential issues.
  • Install, repair, and service firefighting vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems with electrical, mechanical, Can Bus system, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive service reports detailing the work carried out, including root cause analysis of problems and detailed repair information.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate and Diploma Engineering (Automotive/Electronic/Mechatronic) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience is required, with training provided as needed.
  • A valid Class 3 and 4 driving license is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with effective customer service skills.
