Job Title: Marine Claims Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing marine claims from inception to closure. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all claims are handled efficiently and effectively, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional who possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external parties.

  • Gather relevant details from clients and other parties involved in the claim.
  • Arrange surveys and assessments as necessary.
  • Contact settling agents and follow up on payment recoveries.
  • Create and manage claim files, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.
  • Draft correspondence and reports, including acknowledgments and claims updates.
  • Manage and maintain records of outstanding claims and associated payments.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Proven experience in marine claims management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
