Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Nursing Admin Assistant to support the daily operations of our nursing department. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary staff to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and collaborate with nursing leaders and teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Prepare and process new admissions efficiently and effectively.
- Compile and maintain Clinical Quality Indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Write minutes for nursing meetings to keep stakeholders informed.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Coordinate outpatient appointments for nursing home residents to enhance their experience.
- Compile and maintain training records for staff to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest skills and knowledge.
- Maintain and update Vaccination records for residents and staff to ensure everyone is protected.
- Compile and maintain residents database for ACP/PPC to streamline processes.
- Perform other related duties assigned by your supervisor to contribute to the team's success.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be able to understand the needs of residents, have a good understanding of legislation and policies, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Sharepoint. Relevant experience in the healthcare sector is an added advantage.
