Vessel Engine Maintenance and Repair Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Vessel Engine Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for vessel engines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assessing and troubleshooting engine defects
- Providing technical guidance to field workers
- Collaborating with the technology department to resolve issues
- Maintaining compliance with maintenance schedules
- Selecting and procuring maintenance parts
- Conducting regular equipment health checks
- Supporting commissioning new vessels
- Delivering technical education to agents and crew members
- Participating in engineering meetings and collaborating on site tests with the technical department
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of marine engines and performance testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements:
An experienced Service Engineer with expertise in vessel engine maintenance and repair.
A strong understanding of analytical and problem-solving techniques.
The ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
