Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Signal System Lead to join our team at SBS Transit Limited. As a key member of our Rail Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our trainborne signalling systems.

About the Role
  • Lead and supervise the Trainborne Maintenance team to maintain the signalling trainborne activities.
  • Manage and coordinate IT Security for the department.
  • Ensure all new staff and existing staff complete their training/yearly assessment according to plan.
  • Major Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the Trainborne Maintenance team as required and be responsible for the maintenance and assurance activities in accordance with the procedures and safety requirements.

• Organize and ensure major failures are responded to and rectified within a reasonable time.

• Evaluate fault data and remedial works performed related to maintenance work.

• Conduct investigations and fault analysis of persistent faults and implement remedial actions.

Requirements
  • Possess a Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunication / Computer/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years working experience as Management Support Officer with 2 years in the field of Railway Signalling.
  • Possess full ACTA certification in OJT and facilitated training or equivalent.

Able to provide strong people, planning and organizing skills. Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Communication Based Signalling system, Automatic Train Control system, Signalling Interlocking and Platform Screen Door system will be an advantage.
