Job Opportunity: Senior Automation Engineer

Senior automation engineers play a key role in developing and deploying automation frameworks and playbooks. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects that involve designing, implementing, and maintaining complex automation systems.

  • Develop and deploy Ansible playbooks and modules using efficient code to streamline processes and improve productivity.
  • Administer the Ansible platform/infrastructure, perform maintenance, configuration change management, and provide subject matter expert-level support for seamless automation operations.
  • Drive process improvements and design enhancements to automation to continuously improve SIT/DEV/Production environment, ensuring it remains agile and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Influence other teams to adopt automation and configuration management best practices, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence within the organization.
  • Train other team members and other teams on Ansible Automation, empowering them with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Project implementation including design & setup, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required in IT.
  • At least 2+ years' experience with automation tools in developing, creating, and deploying Ansible frameworks and playbooks.
  • At least 2 years of experience using Ansible for DevOps Development & supporting Ansible infrastructures.
  • Strong experience with Ansible Playbook development and Ansible Tower deployment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Python, YAML scripting, containers, Kubernetes.
  • At least 2+ years Windows and Linux vulnerability management.
  • Experience using applications such as Jira, GitHub, GitLab.
  • Experience with patching and vulnerability remediation of Linux, Windows OS.
  • Experience in Linux/Windows/VMware technologies.
  • Understanding of network fundamentals, APIs, and protocols.
  • Experience in Cisco Network Infrastructure.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • A self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented individual.
