Global Markets Trader

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the execution of equity trades across global markets, assist senior traders, and help maintain optimal execution performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a foundation in equity trading. The role may require flexibility in your work hours.

Please note that on occasion you may be required to work overnight hours between 9:00 PM and 2:00 AM as part of covering the US markets. These instances will be scheduled in advance and communicated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Keeping up to date with market news / developments and channel market information flow to the team in a timely manner
  • Monitor market conditions, order flow and trading activity in real time
  • Execute equity trades under the supervision of senior traders
  • Operate OAC's proprietary processes to assist with idea generation
  • Use fundamental analysis to develop ideas, using Bloomberg or other research portals
  • Employ coding skills to maintain or improve upon workflow automation processes at OAC
Requirements:
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Self-driven and able to work effectively under pressure
  • Good at multitasking
  • Possess strong interest in understanding the global financial markets
  • A finance-related degree is preferred but not an absolute requirement
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and coding experience will be preferred (VBA / Python)
  • Fresh graduates will also be considered for this position
