Job Description

The Network Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our global network infrastructure. This involves working independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement network enhancements and upgrades.

This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal stakeholders, service providers, and other external partners.

In addition to technical expertise, this position demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address root causes of network outages and performance issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, including OSPF/ISIS and BGP.
  • Knowledge of DWDM technologies and multiple vendors such as Cienna, Infinera, and Cisco NCS.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor network environments preferred.
  • Network certifications (CCNP/JNCIP) a plus.
  • Expertise in optical technology an advantage.
