Robot Engineer Installation and Calibration Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation, configuration, and calibration of Semicon robots at customer sites. This involves working closely with customers to understand their needs and providing expert technical support to resolve any issues that may arise.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics engineering and excellent problem-solving skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and calibrate Semicon robots at customer sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues and perform repairs or part replacements
- Perform diagnostics, disassembly, and repair of returned robot units and components
- Clean, replace parts, reassemble, and test functionality to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain accurate repair records and provide feedback to engineering teams for product improvement
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspection, and submit technical service reports
- Provide basic technical training and operational guidance to customers
- Collaborate with engineering teams in Japan HQ for escalated technical support and analysis
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering
- Entry level candidates are welcomed to apply
- Possess Class 3 driving license
- Experience in the Semiconductor industry is an added advantage
