Job Title: Malay Language Specialist in Preschool Education

Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Malay Language Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals in preschool education. As a Malay Language Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting the early literacy skills of preschool-aged children in the Malay language.

  • Promote early literacy skills in the Malay language through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities suitable for preschool-aged children.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel comfortable to explore and engage.
  • Incorporate play-based learning, arts and crafts, music, and movement to foster a well-rounded developmental experience.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to discuss their child's progress and development, and provide feedback through parent-teacher meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a Malay Language Specialist, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written Malay.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's preschool education system and guidelines is an advantage.
  • Must have EDCA (L2)
