
Business Development Specialist

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and resourceful self-starter to establish business opportunities in the APAC region.
This role involves working closely with management to set regional business development strategies, goals, and deliverables to align with the company's objectives. The specialist will formulate periodic strategic work plans and/or related policies, champion growth initiatives by leading efforts to expand the company's footprint within the region, and keep abreast of new developments in the industry and competitive strategies at a regional level.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with management to set regional business development strategies, goals, and deliverables to align with the company's objectives.
- Formulate periodic strategic work plans and/or related policies.
- Champion growth initiatives by leading efforts to expand the company's footprint within the region.
- Keep abreast of new developments in the industry and competitive strategies at a regional level.
- Continuous improvement in self-research, learning, and readiness on new markets, products, and solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
- Follow-up on marketing leads and secure potential sales opportunities.
- Build valuable connections and expose yourself to diverse cultures.
- Establish and maintain long-lasting relationships and networks with clients.
- Identify client challenges, business needs, and objectives to structure feasible solutions/proposals.
- Develop and refine negotiation and pitching strategies by keeping up to date with best practices.
- Manage, adapt, and overcome any challenges that arise.
- Promote the company's profile and enhance its brand by participating/coordinating in trade fairs, exhibitions, events, or relevant business development initiatives.
- Perform meaningful data analysis based on a KPI-driven approach to infer consequences that are implemented within and beyond the venture.
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management.
- Regularly assess and review sales methodology and processes.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, quotations, sales agreements, and invoices for customers.
- Rendereffort after-sales support, including coordinating across functional teams to keep project schedules and progress on track.
- Gather and analyze feedback from customers for improvement in products and services.
