Warehouse Operations Manager Job Description

The Warehouse Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse, overseeing the safe storage, handling, and timely distribution of materials and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control all incoming and outgoing materials, finished products, and stock lists to ensure seamless inventory management.
  • Receive and arrange stock inventory in the proper locations, adhering to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that all processes in the store comply with quality standards, including checking inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage.
  • Provide overall master planning of inbound and outbound delivery flow in the warehouse, optimizing processes to support production needs.
  • Ensure the safety of goods to prevent losses, damages, and mishandling, adhering to workplace safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Track all inventory in the appropriate system, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Plan and organize the daily delivery schedule, collaborating with purchasing personnel for material arrangements.
  • Maintain and update records of inventory within the warehouse, supervising tamper-evident packaging sealing and carton packing processes.
  • Liaise with the accounts department in stock-taking and inventory control processes, ensuring compliance with documentation and record-keeping requirements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/ Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in health product manufacturing.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with knowledge of GxP standards and inventory management systems (ERP, SAP, WMS, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills for handling deviations, stock discrepancies, or logistic issues, with the ability to coordinate warehouse audits and inspections.
  • Willingness to get hands-on and contribute to the groundwork when needed, demonstrating strong leadership and training skills.

Authority:

  • Oversees inventory control and warehousing operations, implementing stock control measures as necessary.
  • Has the authority to approve shipping and receiving schedules, ensuring smooth logistics and supply chain management.
