Director of Payments Strategy

The Director of Payments Strategy is responsible for developing and executing the digital payments strategy for Singapore, including partnerships with BigTech and FinTech players.

  • Develop a comprehensive digital payments strategy for Singapore, incorporating emerging technologies and trends in the industry.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the payments space.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including BigTech and FinTech companies.
  • Manage the development and implementation of new payment solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payments strategy development and execution, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of digital payments technologies, including mobile wallets, P2P and cross-border payments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty.
